I think pretty much exactly half of the population like to do this (I was going to add: 'in my experience') but that would just be showing off.

And it doesn't only apply to coffee, it could be tea, hot chocolate or even Horlicks.

So the chances are, you know someone who likes hot drinks, so why not treat them to this special thing which reminds them how much they like it.
